Applications are welcome from students from Ireland/EU with, or expecting to gain, a first class Honours degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry or other relevant scientific discipline. Experience in any area of modern Chemical Synthesis including organic and inorganic methodology, natural product and target molecule synthesis, organometallic chemistry, catalysis, asymmetric synthesis, photochemistry, flow chemistry or carbohydrate chemistry would be an advantage.
Benefits
This is a fully funded PhD scholarships (stipend, fees, travel & research expenses) in the UCD School of Chemistry, funded by Science Foundation Ireland under the A2P-Centre for Doctoral Training in Green and Sustainable Chemistry.
Selection process
The position will be filled once the suitable candidate has been identified so early applications are advised. Interviews will most likely be held in the week of Dec 4th-8th, either in-person or online via Zoom. The successful candidate would start in January 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter.
